• Introduction

Modern technology requires organized data for better operational  data mobility and data handling process from centralized database  system.  It also used to utilize data effectively by getting data from portable source at any time and any where. This data mobility and utilization is a concept applied integrating different data’s in a very easy and portable way. My android  App for SSWR PE  O& M is very useful to access BTS site Power resource informations with such easy and portable manner on any android device.

• Statement of problems 

In the previous ethio telecom PE O&M practices were very sluggish ,unorganized, coasty and time consuming process regarding to site data’s access  as well as  limited central knowledge about each  BTS site power resource information.

 Also there was lack of portable power source data for PE O&M. So I brought  a new method for capturing all site information in organized, efficient and portable manner, which will increase the knowledge of power staffs  for each site in order to decrease down time with fast responsive action. This android app also organizes all site information based on  region and maintenance center to minimize information access time from conventional on office support.

• Objective

    General objective 

To develop and implement Android mobile App for SSWR PE O&M 

 Specific objective 

To design friendly mobile app for ethio telecom employees.

To transform data holding method from paper to android mobile application. 

To tackle each maintenance center site information. 

To identify the regional power resource information of each sites.

To minimize down time of sites and increase up time of the NE.

To increase the efficient of ethiotelecom.

• Methodology

In order to Develop this android mobile app many software development tools , design  and text edition software.

Such as:-

Android studio: provides a unified environment where you can build apps for Android phones, tablets, Android Wear, Android TV, and Android Auto. . 

JSON : is a lightweight data-interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write.

HTML:-  For documents designed to be displayed in a web browser.

Oracle DB:- is a multi-model database management system produced and marketed by Oracle Corporation. 

Java :-Java is a class-based, object-oriented programming language that is designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible.

Notepad++ ( text and source code editor used  with Microsoft Windows )

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet.
